Joining or leading a team at Relive is an excellent way to accelerate growth, collaboration, and income. To ensure team leaders provide genuine value and guidance, certain standards apply.
To create a team and become a Team Leader, an agent must have achieved a minimum of $150,000 in Gross Commission Income (GCI) over the previous four quarters (trailing 12 months).
Team Members follow the exact same compensation and cap system as Single Agents. The only difference is that Team Members also pay a Team Leader Fee.
For a full breakdown of how the cap works, please refer to the Single Agent Model:
Team Leader Fee
You pay a Team Leader Fee set by your Team Leader (minimum 10%).
The Team Leader Fee is calculated on the total Gross Commission Income of each deal submitted.
The fee applies to all deals, whether they are self-generated or a Relive Lead.
The Team Leader Fee comes from your side of the commission, not from Relive’s split.
The fee is independent of your cap status (Pre-Cap or Post-Cap).
Payout Sequence (for clarity)
Pay your commission split to Relive, per the Single Agent Model rules.
Pay your Team Leader Fee (minimum 10% of total GCI).
The remainder is your net earnings.
Example 1 – Team Member (15% Leader Fee), Self-Generated Deal, Pre-Cap
Deal GCI = $10,000
Relive Split (30%) = $3,000
Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500
Your Net = $5,500
Example 2 – Team Member (15% Leader Fee), Self-Generated Deal, Post-Cap
Deal GCI = $10,000
Transaction Fee = $100 (lease)
Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500
Your Net = $8,400 (lease)
Team Leaders also operate under the same $15,000 in submitted self-generated GCI cap per quarter. Once capped, they earn 100% commission on their own self-generated deals, paying only the standard post-cap transaction fees.
Team Leader Fees and Cap Progress
The Team Leader Fees you receive from your team members are treated as part of your commission income.
These fees are subject to the standard 70/30 split with Relive until you hit your cap.
The 30% paid to Relive from your Team Leader Fees contributes toward your $15,000 GCI cap threshold.
Once you’ve hit your cap — whether through self-generated deals, team leader fees, or a combination of both — you keep 100% of all future Team Leader Fees for the remainder of the quarter.
Team Leader Fee (On Top of Revenue Share)
As a Team Leader, the Team Leader Fee is earned in addition to your Revenue Share.
If agents within your Revenue Share organization join your team, you earn both:
The Revenue Share payout, and
The Team Leader Fee (minimum 10%).
Example 1 – How Team Leader Fees Contribute to the Cap (Team Leader is Pre-Cap)
Team Member Deal GCI = $10,000
Relive Split (30%) = $3,000
Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500
Team Leader Fee Split with Relive:
30% to Relive = $450 (counts toward the Team Leader’s cap)
70% to Team Leader = $1,050 (net income)
Example 2 – How Team Leader Fees Contribute to the Cap (Team Leader is Post-Cap)
Team Member Deal GCI = $10,000
Relive Split (30%) = $3,000
Team Leader Fee (15%) = $1,500
Team Leader Fee Split with Relive:
0% to Relive (Team Leader is capped)
100% to Team Leader = $1,500 (net income)
Value-Oriented Leadership
The Team Leader Fee should reflect the value you provide to your team. To attract and retain agents, strong team leaders typically offer one or more of the following:
Exclusive training materials and video resources
Mentorship and accountability sessions
Team meetings, coaching, or collaboration calls
Custom marketing materials, templates, or systems
Recruiting Existing Relive Agents
Team Leaders are allowed to invite existing Relive Agents to join their team. However, it’s important to understand that the Team Leader Fee comes from the agent’s commission — not from Relive’s portion of the 70/30 split.
This means that before inviting another agent to join your team, you must ensure your value proposition is clear and compelling — agents should see genuine benefit in paying a Team Leader Fee in exchange for the additional mentorship, systems, or resources you provide.
