This policy outlines the steps required to properly process your own lease and ensure timely commission payment.
Following these guidelines helps you avoid errors that could lead to a property denying commission.
Important: This policy is exclusively for your own move-in leases - not extendable to family members or other relatives.
To successfully close your own lease and receive commission:
Request another Relive agent to send a guest card listing you as the client.
Enter that agent’s name as your referral source on the lease application.
Have the same agent create the invoice in Relive’s CRM.
Ensure they include a note stating:
“This is [Your Name]’s own lease. Please update it in their CRM.”
Finance will process the invoice by submitting it to the property, assigning it to you, and adjusting the commission to 100%.
If the property pays via check, you receive 100% of the invoice amount.
If the property pays via ACH, a processing fee of up to 2% (charged by third-party entities) will be deducted from the total invoice amount.
