Purpose
Partnership outreach involves many touchpoints — tracking prevents lost info and duplicates, and credentialing info helps unblock partners.
Documenting everything (non-negotiable)
After every email/call/visit:
- Update Status for that property
- Add relevant context in Notes
What to include in Notes
- Decision-maker name + role
- Commission structure
- Special clauses (examples):
- Agent must accompany client to earn commission
- Commission only paid if lease > 6 months
- Any referral restrictions
- Next step + timing (ex: “follow up Friday”)
