Colorado - Locating License Transfer Instructions

STEP 1: Notify Your Current Broker

Inform your current employing broker of your intention to transfer your license to a new brokerage. It is professional courtesy to provide advance notice and discuss any outstanding transactions or obligations.

STEP 2: Access the Colorado E-Licensing Portal

Log in to your account on the Colorado Division of Real Estate’s E-Licensing portal. If you do not have an account, you must create one using your license information.

STEP 3: Initiate the License Transfer Request

In the E-Licensing portal, select the option to “Transfer / Activate / Inactivate License”. Enter Relive's brokerage details (image at the end of this page)

STEP 4: Pay the Transfer Fee

Pay the required $25 license transfer fee through the E-Licensing system. Keep confirmation of payment for your records.

STEP 5: Confirm Transfer Completion

The DRE will process your transfer request, which typically takes 3–5 business days for the change to be reflected online. Relive's broker will receive a notification from the DRE once the transfer is complete.
