What is CapCut?
CapCut is a free video editing app that works on both phone and computer. It's perfect for creating professional-looking Reels and TikToks in minutes - no experience needed.
Goal: Turn raw clips into a polished video in under 10 minutes.
Quick Steps
Download & Open CapCut
- Click New Project
Import your clips
- Select your intro + 6–8 clips
- Click Add
Trim each clip to 1.5–3 seconds—keep it fast-paced
- Click each clip
- Drag white handles to trim
- Keep clips between 1.5–3 seconds
- Remove shaky moments
Fast pacing = modern feel
Add Music
- Click Audio > Sounds
- Choose upbeat, clean music (avoid emotional/sad tracks)
- Lower music volume to 30–40% so your voice is clear
Add Text (property details, neighborhood info—keep it above/below center)
- Click Text > Add Text
Add Auto Captions (most viewers watch without sound)
- Click Text > Auto Captions
Most people watch without sound
Choose Cover Image (best exterior shot or you smiling)
- Click Cover (left side of timeline)
- Pick best exterior shot OR a frame of you smiling
Your cover = first impression on your profile grid
Export and upload directly to Instagram/TikTok
- Click arrow (top right)
- Export at 1080p minimum (4K if available)
- Save to device
