Agent Benefits + Bonus Policy
Purpose
Agents benefit from more partnerships in their city — and Relive pays a bonus for each closed agreement.
Partnerships are crucial to our business because they unlock access to a large number of properties where our agents can refer clients and earn commissions. Without partnerships, agents cannot send clients to many properties and get paid.
Why do we need partnerships?
- They enable access to inventory that is not publicly available to locators.
- They allow agents to refer clients to these properties and earn commissions.
- Partnerships are generally unnecessary only for properties that already offer publicly available locator partnerships/commissions.
Partnerships as a Relive competitive advantage
Building a large partnership portfolio in each city:
- Makes it easier for agents to find the right apartment for clients
- Improves client experience (more options, faster match)
What you gain as an agent
- More apartment options to offer clients
- Stronger positioning vs competitors (“I have access to more properties”)
- Faster placements and smoother process
Bonus amounts
- $100 when you secure a signed contract via DocuSign/PandaDoc
- $50 when you secure a written agreement via email
What counts as valid proof (required for bonus)
Valid proof must be written and final, meaning:
- A signed contract (DocuSign/PandaDoc), or
- An email from the property confirming we are approved to start sending clients and nothing else is needed.
Not valid proof:
- Property asking for more information (W9, COI, contract, vendor setup, etc.)
- Emails only from our side
- “We’re still setting things up” without clear approval to start sending prospects
Note: In Chicago, we are not closing partnerships because properties are paying commissions without requiring a partnership agreement.
