Georgia - Residential License Transfer

This article explains how to transfer your real estate license to Relive in Georgia.

 

DISCLAIMER:

Agents may only join Relive’s residential side if they are fully prepared to pay their local MLS fees and Realtors' Association dues. Before moving forward, agents must search online and confirm the exact costs for their area so they understand what they will be responsible for paying to activate and maintain these memberships. Agents who do not sign up for the MLS and Realtors' Association will have their license canceled by the end of their first 30 days.

 

Step 1: Inform your current broker

Notify your current broker that you are transferring your license to Relive. Your current broker must release your license with the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC). If your license has already been released, skip this step.

 

Step 2: Complete the GREC change form

Fill out the required GREC Change Form using this link:

 

Step 3: Get the form signed (if needed)

  • If your current broker has not released your license yet, send them the completed form so they can sign and release the license.
  • If your license has already been released, skip this step.
 

Step 4: Email the signed form to GREC

Email the signed form to:

Step 5: Wait for confirmation

GREC will process the change and update your license status. It may take up to 7 days to update records after submission. You will receive an email confirmation from GREC once the transfer is complete.
