Moving from Locating to Residential Sales
This article applies to Relive agents moving from apartment locating into residential sales.
It covers every step you need to complete to make the switch and start closing residential deals. Please follow the steps in order. Each one builds on the last, and skipping ahead will delay your move to the residential side.
Step 1: Transfer Your License to Relive Realty LLC
Apartment locating runs under Relive Real Estate Inc. Residential sales runs under Relive Realty LLC. Your first step is to transfer your license sponsorship to Relive Realty LLC.

⚠️ Note:
- Agents in Colorado and Illinois, please note that Relive has not opened residential sales in these states yet. These are locating-only markets for now.
- Agents in Florida are already under Relive Realty LLC and can perform residential sales without switching.
Step 2: Notify Compliance of Your Sponsorship Request
Once you have submitted your license sponsorship request, send us an email so we can save it on our records and inform the sponsoring broker to accept your request.

Step 3: Sign Up for Your Local MLS and Realtors Association

⚠️ Note: You can only sign up for the MLS once your license is showing up under Relive Realty LLC. If your license is not showing under Relive Realty LLC after 2 business days, email Abby Steele at asteele@reliverealty.com and request her support.
Step 4: Start Your Residential Training
If you are not a seasoned agent with at least 3+ years of experience in residential, we highly recommend you complete our residential training.

Step 5: Set Up a Call with Our Residential Sales Manager
Once you have transferred your license, signed up for the MLS and Realtors Association, and watched our residential training, the next step is scheduling a 15-minute one on one call with our Residential Sales Manager, Eric Hauser.

Step 6: Request to Join the Residential Chat
Use the link below to request access to the residential chat.
Once you are approved, we encourage you to introduce yourself in the group. Let other agents know why you decided to move over to the residential side, what areas you are serving, and any other important details.
