Personal Residential Deals Policy

This policy explains how to handle your own residential buy/sell or lease transactions and secure your commission payout.

Important: This policy applies only to your own transactions. It is not applicable to family members or other relatives.

Notify Abby Steele

For any personal deal, send an email to Abby Steele, our Residential Compliance Manager, letting her know this is a personal deal. Email: asteele@reliverealty.com

Make sure your email includes all the relevant information:

  • Property address
  • Commission amount
  • SkySlope deal ID (ideally)

Abby will inform finance from there.

Follow the Standard Process for Your Deal Type

Beyond notifying Abby, the steps you follow are the same as any other deal. Use the right workflow for your transaction type:

Using Your Commission Toward a Down Payment

If you plan to apply your commission toward your down payment and your lender requires a letter from our broker confirming this is acceptable, reach out to Abby Steele. A letter signed by our broker will be prepared and sent to you so you can share it with the necessary parties.

Fees & Caps

  • Personal buy/sell deals are charged a flat $350 transaction fee to Relive. You keep the rest of the commission.
  • Personal leases are not charged any fee. You keep the full commission.
  • Because this is a personal deal, this fee is applied in replacement of Relive’s standard commission split model.
  • Personal deals do not count toward your $15,000 volume cap.

How You'll Get Paid

For personal buy/sell deals, Relive's only deduction is the $350 flat transaction fee and you keep the rest of the commission. For personal leases, there is no fee and you keep the full commission. In both cases you can coordinate directly with the title company or property on how you'd like to receive your cut.

Eligibility Disclaimer

This policy applies only while you are an active Relive agent.

If you are no longer with Relive by the date the invoice is collected, you will lose this benefit. Any commission on this deal will be subject to the standard commission split model.
